Creating Stillness

As human beings the most difficult thing to do is to sit still and listen. We always feel the need to act, to physically take action or do something. Stillness is the last thing on our minds and yet it is the very thing we are constantly searching for.

What does stillness looklike? Is it doing nothing?

Yes and No. Stillness looks like doing regular tasks like cleaning, washing, bathing, clothing, working but with a sense of peace and conscious awareness, not with a rushed mind, not with the feeling of burden and chaos, not with fear. The starting is always a war. All angles of the situation pop up to take away your peace. But with persistance it subsides eventually. With the knowing that when it is time to do more we will be shown the way by the motivation felt in our physical being. Yes practicing to sit still teaches you to listen to how your physical body responds to thoughts and ideas.

This simple act of patiently listening, knowing and consciously being on a day to day basis builds a bond with our intuition or our inner voice, and the actions that then come from there, is intuitive action. In this state intention plays a key role in the directing the actions towards the intended goals of creating peace and stillness even if its just for 1 minutes its the same thought form.
